The U.S. Department of Defense established the DoD/USU Brain Tissue Repository to advance traumatic brain injury (TBI) research.

The mission of the DoD/USU BTR is to better understand the effects of
traumatic brain injury and promote overall brain health of the warfighter.

Using the best science, they support our service members and their families to help care for our military personnel after head injury.

The SPARC program has partnered with Donate Life Texas to provide another way to let your loved ones know of your intention.

If you are a Texas resident, you can visit the Donate Life Texas webpage to express your wishes for organ donation for transplant, as well as to indicate that you would like to donate your brain to the DoD/USU BTR at the time of your death.
